Description	Carbenoxolone is a glycyrrhetinic acid derivative and inhibitor of 11β-HSD inhibitor and gap junction connexin channels. It displays a wide variety of biological properties, including decreasing infarction size in cerebral ischemia models, decreasing production of IL-23 and Th17 cells, inhibiting marcrophage migration into atria, and preventing development of fatty liver disease.
