  • Biological Activity
Description Dronedarone HCl is a salt form of dronedarone, which is a Class III antiarrhythmic and a multi-channel blocker for atrial fibrillation. It blocks potassium, sodium, and calcium channels and also exhibits antiadrenergic properties. In the United States, the FDA approved label includes a claim for reducing hospitalization, but not for reducing mortality, as a reduction in mortality was not demonstrated in the clinical development program.
