| Description | Fosfomycin calcium is a MurA and isopentenyl mevalonate kinase inhibitor that prevents synthesis of bacterial cell walls. It also prevents aminoglycoside antibiotic-induced nephrotoxicity and lowers serum levels of TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 in models of septic Pseudomonas infection. | ||
