Ceftizoxime alapivoxil

Description	Ceftizoxime Alapivoxil is the alapivalate ester prodrug form of ceftizoxime, a semi-synthetic, broad-spectrum, beta-lactamase-resistant, third-generation cephalosporin with antibacterial activity. After oral administration of ceftizoxime alapivoxil, the ester bond is cleaved, releasing active ceftizoxime.
