Description The compound has been observed to inhibit the expression of INOS, LPS-induced activation of NF?B p50 (NF-κ B), translocation of p65 by LPS and block IKKα(I-κ B α) degradation in macrophages. Amentoflavone has been shown to up-regulate PPAR-γ and block the induction of COX-2. It is a negative modulator of the GABAA receptor at the benzodiazepine binding site. The compound has demonstrated anti-viral activity against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), with an IC50 of 5.5 μg/ml.
