  • Biological Activity
Description Miconazole nitrate is an 14-α demethylase inhibitor and potential glucocorticoid receptor antagonist that inhibits ergosterol synthesis and fungal cell wall formation. It is used to treat fungal infections and is especially active against Candida. It also decreases expression of HIF-1α and VEGF in breast cancer and glioma cells.
