Description Amiselimod is a prodrug that is converted to (S)-amiselimod phosphate by sphingosine kinases.Amiselimod phosphate is a highly selective S1P1 receptor antagonist (EC50 = 74 pM) that is without activity at S1P3 receptors. It is approximately five-fold weaker as an activator of G protein-coupled inwardly rectifying K+ (GIRK) channels than fingolimod phosphate.1 Amiselimod is orally bioavailable and has minimal cardiac effects when tested clinically.
