| Description | Oxiracetam is a cyclic derivative of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) which has been commonly used as nootropic drug to treat cognitive impairments.Oxiracetam is a positive allosteric modulator of the AMPA receptors. It improves hippocampally-mediated learning performance by increasing membrane-bound protein kinase C (PKC). It is also considered a nootropic drug with very mild stimulant effect. | ||
