| Description | LY 303511 was first discovered as an inactive analog of LY294002 which does not inhibit PI 3-kinase, but recent research has shown LY 303511 to block cell proliferation via mTOR-dependent and independent mechanisms, without inducing apoptosis. LY 303511 has been shown to reduce G2M progression, G2M-specific cyclins and casein kinase 2 activity in A549 cells. It can be used as a negative control for the PI 3-kinase inhibitor LY294002. | ||
