| Description | Calpain Inhibitor XII is a cell-permeable, potent, selective, reversible, and active-site-directed inhibitor of calpain-1 with Ki of 19 nM. It has been shown to inhibit calpain-2 with Ki of 120 nM and human cathepsin B with Ki of 750 nM. Calpain inhibitor XII has been used to study the role of calpains in diverse processes, including neutrophil chemotaxis, neuronal signaling, and cardiac response to injury. | ||
