Description KH 7 is a novel and selective inhibitor of soluble adenylyl cyclase (Sac) with IC50 value of 3 - 10 μM in vivo, which is an essential component of cAMP-signaling and is ubiquitously expressed. It blocks cAMP synthesis and shows an antiapoptotic effect at concentrations of 1 - 100 μM.
